SALVATION
What You Should Know...
Straight
from the Bible!
FIRST, YOU NEED TO BE SAVED.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23)
SECOND, YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF.
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to his mercy He saved us." (Titus 3:5)
THIRD, JESUS HAS PROVIDED FOR YOUR
SALVATION.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son that Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life." (John 3:16)
FOURTH, YOU MUST ACCEPT JESUS FOR
SALVATION.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be
saved." (Acts 16:31)
FIFTH, NOW IS THE TIME TO ACCEPT JESUS
AS SAVIOR.
"Behold, now is the day of salvation." (II Corinthians
6:2)
WHAT TO DO...
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved." "For whosoever shall
call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
FINALLY, WILL YOU BOW YOUR HEAD AND
PRAY THIS PRAYER?
"Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. I do
believe that Jesus Christ died for me to pay my sin debt, and the
best I know how, I trust Him now and receive Him by faith."
Baptists believe that
a person who accepts Christ as Savior should also follow him in
believer's baptism by immersion and join the fellowship of a
local New Testament believing church.
